It is the student’s responsibility to be warmed up and prepared for class.

Entry into the practical exams of units 3 & 4 is at the discretion of the tutor. It is the responsibility of the student to manage their time in order to keep up with the pace of learning required.

Units 1 & 5 must be completed within our course schedule, ie submission in May/June, resubmissions in November. These units have internal assessment tasks at specific points in the course. Continuation on the course is dependent on these being achieved.

If you do not communicate with your tutor, have not attended several sessions, or fail to submit work on time without prior notice and/or permission, then you could be asked to leave the course. In this instance a refund will not be given, and recommencement of that unit would need to wait for the next intake of students and payment remade.

Fees are adjusted according to units required & divided into 6 half-termly payments. These are due on 1st Monday of each half term unless other payment plans have been arranged. Please contact us if you wish to do this.

Any invoices not paid within 30 days of receipt will be subject to 10% interest after a reminder has been sent previously.

One full term’s notice of cancellation is required or that term’s fees will be due. No refunds will be given.

Students/Teachers must sign up for vocational classes per half term. If a class is missed it can be made up in another class. No refunds are given except in extenuating circumstances.

ISTD set the additional exam fees for individual units & registration. These will all be payable through Dance2advance and will be billed accordingly throughout your training.

If additional private coaching is required, fees are payable at a rate of £42.50 per hour.

If a class is cancelled by Dance2advance there will be full reimbursement.

Data Protection Policy
Dance2advance is a teacher-training centre.
We take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information for the purposes of administration, communication, compliance with health and safety procedures and exam entry. These combine to provide the service you have requested from us.
The Data collected at registration includes:
Name / Address / Date of Birth / Phone contacts / Email / Photo ID / any relevant medical issues we should be aware of eg allergies, injuries / Emergency contact / Previous dance training, qualifications and results / ISTD pin number.
Data will not be shared with third parties other than the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (exam procedures) or unless required by government bodies or law enforcement agencies. Emergency contacts may be shared with class tutors for the safety of clients.
This data is obtained via email or hard copy, is controlled by the Course Director and kept on a secure computer database or stored in a locked filing cabinet. Clients have the right to request access to their data at any time and can ask for it to be deleted/destroyed.
Dance2advance may also hold and use a database of contact details for our legitimate business interests. Communication may be via email, phone or private messaging.
