Louise Outram

Dip LCD; LISTD; RAD Teaching Diploma; RAD RTS 

 

Louise trained at London College of Dance, Bedford, achieving the Diploma in Dance Studies and Teacher Training. She studied all forms of dance including Imperial Ballet, Cecchetti Ballet, Modern Theatre, Tap, Jazz and Contemporary under the expert coaching of teachers such as Victoria Chappell, Hilary Clark, Katie Morea and Tereza Theodoulou.

 

Louise is a Licentiate of the Modern Theatre and Tap Dance Faculties of the ISTD, an Associate in Imperial Ballet and has her RAD Teaching Diploma. She is also a tutor for the ISTD DDE teaching qualifications.

 

Since graduating in 1991 Louise has been teaching, tutoring and choreographing overseas in Cyprus, Singapore and for 14 years, Australia, working with students of all ages. Whilst in Australia she was ISTD organiser for Victoria and Vice-Chair of the Victorian panel for the RAD. She returned to the UK permanently in 2011, and has fulfilled her long-time goal of opening a teacher training centre that both trains the next generation and supports local teachers. Alongside this she is a ballet tutor at the Institute of Contemporary Theatre in Brighton and continues to freelance in many dance schools in the area.
